Frankie

Spread the love

We are heartbroken to report that sweet Frankie gained his angel wings on November 11, 2022.  He was very sick and lost the ability to walk on his back legs.  He will be forever in our hearts.

Frankie has a heartbreaking story. He’s a senior dog who was found wandering the streets of Philadelphia in very bad shape. He was sick and very thin. Thankfully, one of CPAA’s kind foster moms stepped up to take him into her care.

Frankie has been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. His medication is very expensive each month. As such, CPAA will cover the cost of all of his vet care and supplies for the rest of his life in his permanent foster home.  We are looking for a permanent, loving, quiet, foster home where he can spend the rest of his days. Dogs with Cushing’s Disease typically don’t live long, at most a year, maybe a little longer.

Frankie is a sweet, senior, loving dog who gets along with calm, older dogs. He will need to be taken to regular vet appointments for bloodwork, so the permanent foster would need to be willing to do that.

Is there someone out there who can offer this sweet senior a loving home and soft bed for the remainder of his days?

Senior dogs are truly the BEST.  They all deserve a chance for a loving home.  You will not regret opening your heart and home to Frankie!
