Week 5
Racquet balls!! We finally found a toy the Snowy likes and it's
racquet balls! Snowy is really doing great. He loves his
handlers but plays favorites, much to the chagrin of one of the handlers.
He will respond well to both of them, but always has an eye out for his
favorite. What a little sweetheart!

Week 4
Snowy had another fun week of lounging about with his handlers and romping
in the doggie yard with his buddy Abby. Snowy received a few new toys
this week, but we still haven't really found one that he would like to play
with. The best part of Snowy's day is being around people and he has
come leaps and bounds since his first week at the prison. Instead of
being fearful of people, Snowy has become quite a little gentleman and loves
the attention he gets from the inmates and the staff.

Week 3
Snowy is the ultimate lapdog! On any given day, he would much rather
be in your lap or snuggling next to you rather than doing anything else.
He is definitely a people dog. His handlers have learned that Snowy
prefers to eat his meals off the floor or from their hands instead of using
a bowl, but Snowy's foster mom says that this is the most normal thing in
the world for Eskies. He is certainly bringing lots of laughs and
smiles to everyone at the jail and he is making great strides with his
training!! Way to go Snowy!!

Week 2
Wow! This boy is a sweetheart. He has won over the handlers, the
officers and just about anyone else he happens to meet. His handlers
have nicknamed him the Arctic Fox!! He loves to play with Abby and
Koby in the big yard. Koby can be a little rambunctious at times, but
Snowy knows just how to tell him that he's had enough. It is so much
fun to watch them play together. Snowy is just a big love in a tiny,
white, furry body!!

Week 1
Snowy has had one of the fastest adjustments that we've seen since the
program began. He was a bit nervous for the first few days with all
the new smells and people, but about midway through his first week he
settled right in. Now, it's no surprise to see him hanging out with
his handlers watching tv or romping around with the group in the doggie
yard. He looks like he has made himself right at home!
