Week 3
What a doll this boy is. It looks as though he's already been lucky
enough to find a new home and now his new family is just waiting for him to
finish up his training. You couldn't ask for a nicer dog to spend your
days with. The inmates all love him. The staff things he's as
sweet as can be. And, of course all of the volunteers adore him.
This week, Simon and his handler are working on letting go of toys and
learning that they'll always be returned. This is always tough for
every dog, but we know Simon will come through the training with flying
colors!
Week 2
Simon is really coming along nicely. He has adapted quickly and easily
to life in the big house and is making new friends everywhere he goes.
He loves to play with his other doggie friends in the big yard and
especially loves meeting new people! He and his handler are working
very hard on approaching people while still remembering to use good leash
manners. Sometimes Simon gets so excited to meet new friends, he
forgets that he's not supposed to pull on the leash. With a little
practice, he'll be over that in no time!

Week 1
Simon is off to a great start. He's already working hard at lots of
obedience skills and meeting many new friends on the block. He loves
the other dogs in the program and has already begun to trust the judgment of
his handler when meeting strangers for the first time. With a little
patience and love, Simon will be in tip-top shape in no time!
UPDATE
Simon headed to the big house this week. Stay tuned for updates on his
progress!
Simon is available for adoption
through Cocker
Spaniel Adoption Center.
