Week
9
Well, this is Jada's last week in the HOPE Program. She has been such
a joy to be around and we will all miss her. But, she is headed on to
brighter days in her new home where she is sure to be loved and cherished,
just as it should be! Good luck, Jada!!!!!
Week
8
Two more weeks for Miss Jada and then she is off to start her new life in
her forever home. She has been so much fun in the short time we've
known her and she has brought so much joy to everyone who has had the
pleasure to meet her. We are so excited for the new life she is about
to start!
Week 7
Well, Jada received some wonderful news this week. She has found her
forever home and she'll be getting paroled very soon! She was given
some new toys this week and has spent a lot of time in her cell playing with
them. It seemed like she wanted to make sure she figured out all of
the best parts of each toy!
Week 6
Jada is a funny little girl with a great personality. This week, she
decided that she would like a pillow in her crate so she carefully rolled up
her blanket and nudged to the back of the crate and then laid down for a
nice nap. She makes her handlers laugh with her silly antics all the
time. Of course, her handler promptly made her a pillow so she
wouldn't have to work so hard the next time. What a girl!!
She loves to play with both Chip and Sammy, but prefers one on one time with
them. Her walking is coming along nicely and so are her commands.
She's even learned a few tricks!!!
Week 5
Jada had a wonderful week with her new very best friend in the whole
world...Chip. They have romped and played and chased and napped all
week long. Jada's handler says that she won't even play with her very
favorite blue ball when Chip is around. They are just two peas in a
pod! As for homework, she is still doing very, very well with all of
her obedience training. She's getting more confidence in new
situations and that will eventually lead to the end of her nervous
accidents. You really need to meet this little sweetheart.
Everyone who meets her falls in love with her and now she's just waiting for
the right folks to come along and take her home.
Week 4
All Jada needs is a little more self-confidence and she will be a terrific
companion. She's already terrific at her basic obedience skills, she
loves everyone she meets and eve helped Chip, the new kid, get used to his
new surroundings this week when he entered the program. She loves to
play with balls, big or small. She'll chase them time and time again
around the doggie yard and will even push them around the ground with her
nose. Keep an eye out for Jada around town during the next few weeks.
The HOPE trainer has recommended a strict regimen of super fun playdates to
help Jada build up her confidence and help her feel more secure in new
situations. Stay tuned for details on where she'll be!
Week 3
Jada's handlers report that she's coming out of her shell and loves playing
with her toys. She loves to be "tickled" in the ribs and will redirect your
hand if it strays from there, she loves it so much. She is a sweet little
lady who is learning her commands and is extremely well behaved and calm.
She's great for a family who wants a real sweetheart and companion. She
loves to give kisses too, and would probably not make a great watchdog!
She's way too sweet.
Week 2
Jada is our
newest recruit and what a sweetheart. She learned in 2 1/2 hrs. how to
correctly walk on a leash. She also loves to play, especially with Kaden,
and is just a sweet, petite gal who needs love and attention. And, she's a
fast learner and is quickly capturing her handlers' hearts!
Week 1
Jada is off
to a running start. She is already learning her leash manners and her
new handlers can't get over how quickly she is calming down on the leash and
settling into the training routine. Way to go, Jada. Stay tuned
for more updates as her handlers get to know her a little better!
UPDATE
Jada is our newest addition to the HOPE Program. She started her
training on Monday so keep an eye out for new updates on her progress
starting this week!
