Week 11 It was Danner's lucky week!  He met his new big brother and they got along as if they'd always been family.  We'll all miss Danner very much, but he deserves to have a home of his own.  He's gone from being a very lonely boy to part of the pack and we know he'll do just fine with his new family.  Good luck, Danner! Danner was a fantastic little passenger! Week 7 After his trip out to Pawsabilities last week, Danner now believes that every human being on the planet carries hot dogs in their pockets.  Much to his dismay, he learned this week that only about 50% of the population carries hot dogs, cold cuts and other assorted delicacies in their pockets.  That doesn't get him down though.  He's happy to greet everyone now in the hopes that he'll get lucky!! For information on adopting Danner, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.    Blue          Zaydee          Luke          Domino          Jet          Sarge     Week 6 Sweet Danner has come such a long way since he first started the program.  He ventured out to Pawsabilities over the weekend and had a blast meeting new people and dogs.  He were reminded as we were talking about him just how much Danner has grown since we first met him.  He now loves the company of other dogs ad although still a bit shy at first, warms up quickly to new people.  It truly makes your heart swell when you see this kind of progress made by a dog who came into the program with absolutely nothing.  We are all so incredibly proud of him and can't wait for him to get the home that he deserves and start a new life with lots of kind words, soft hands and unconditional love! Week 5 Danner still loves to play with his favorite blue ball!  We're all kind of amazed that it's still in one piece because he loves it so much, but he takes good care of it so that he can play with it every day!  Danner has come such an incredibly long way since he started a few weeks ago.  He now loves the company of other dogs!  He just needed to re-learn the joys of being part of the pack.  Now he wrestles and runs just like everyone else and has a ball doing it.  He likes to play with Jet and after the two of them finish romping around, they lay down next to each other and share a good nap!  Now all Danner needs is someone with whom to share a home.  He's been waiting and waiting, but no luck.  We all have our paws crossed that maybe this will be his lucky week! For information on adopting Danner, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.    Blue          Zaydee          Butch          Domino          Jet  Week 3 Danner is doing great!  He's branching out and trying out some of the other toys in his cell, but he always comes back to his blue ball.  He loves it!!  Danner gets along well with all of his doggie friends and even taught Zaydee how to be a little more personable!  He has such a sweet nature and really deserves a home that will give him all of the love in the world.  He had s much fun playing in the snow this week.  His handler said that Danner couldn't get enough of running, sniffing and rolling around in it!! For information on adopting Danner, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.    Blue          Zaydee          Butch          Domino          Jet  Week 2 Danner is adjusting well to prison life.  After the first week, he started to pick up on things really quickly.  His handler says that Danner is as smart as he is handsome!!  He's picking up on his commands and his handler uses less and less food reward as the days go by.  Danner has already learned to roll over, give his paw, spin and even DANCE!!  He's coming along nicely with his leash manners and he's getting along well with all of his doggie friends!  Way to go , Danner! You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.    Blue          Zaydee          Butch          Domino          Jet  Week 1 Danner is an awesome dog who just needs some stability in his life.  His handler was having terrific success on the very first day just by paying attention to him and giving him some much needed praise and encouragement.  Danner is as nice as he is handsome.  He's playing well with the other dogs and is excelling in his training.  This week, he learned how to dance.  Really!!  He doe a little dance in a circle and looks back at his audience the entire time to make sure that you're catching the whole thing.  Danner is definitely one to watch!!
