Week 9 Annie continues to be the sunshine of the group.  They just don't make them any sweeter than her.  She has a home visit scheduled for this weekend so we have all of our fingers and paws crossed that she finds her forever home!       For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  Belle          Georgie          Bailey Week 8 Annie is the social butterfly of the pack.  She loves to talk with everyone...everyday!  She especially loves the evenings because she gets to visit with all the officers and the handlers and their friends while her handler keeps an eye on her.  She stops at every table to say hello and no one can resist her.  There is just something about Annie.  She is bubbly and sweet and just utterly charming!      For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  River          Diesel          Roscoe          Bailey Week 7 Annie just continues to amaze us!  Having just three legs doesn't seem to bother her one bit.  She loves to play with the other dogs, always gets a kick out of training and takes an occasional romp in the doggie pool.  Then, she goes about the rest of her day which always includes greeting all of the officers, snuggling up to the staff, playtime with the other pups (especially with her best buddy Roscoe) and spending lots of time with her handlers.  She is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had the joy of knowing and we just can't wait for her to find a home of her own.  Technically, she should be called a special needs dog, but I don't think she would call herself that.  To her, having three legs is just like having golden fur...it's just the way she is and it doesn't bother her one bit.  She has a ton of love to give and now she's just waiting for someone special to open their heart and home to her.  Does that sound like you?  For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511. Photography by RoxAnne Franklin www.pixofthelitter.com   Week 6 We're still not sure how Annie made into the shelter, because it's beyond any of us as to how anyone could ever let this sweet, little girl go.  Everyone who has ever met her has fallen head over heels in love with her.  Her face just lights up whenever you approach her and she makes you feel like your the only person in the world when you're petting or playing with her.  She is a pro at her obedience training and has been a teacher to the other dogs, as well.  She is ready to start a new life and now we just need to find her a special someone of her very own.   For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  River          Diesel          Roscoe          Bailey Photography by RoxAnne Franklin www.pixofthelitter.com Week 5 Annie had another great week in the HOPE Program.  She is a star in her classes, loves everyone and models good behavior for all of the other dogs in the program.  She is still waiting patiently for someone to come along and invite her into their family.  She's one of those rare dogs who could fit in just about anywhere.  She is an absolute love to be around and whoever gets to call her a part of their family will be a very, very lucky person!  This week, Annie will have a special, new job helping River.  Her first job will be to walk past River...a lot!  She and Roscoe (and later, Bailey) will be working together to help River build up his confidence.  What a girl!  Not only is she fabulous all on her own, but she helps the other dogs reach their potential as well.  We just love her!!  For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511. You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  River          Diesel          Roscoe          Bailey   Week 4 Annie is one of the funniest dogs we've ever had the pleasure to have in the program.  She may be short one leg, but there is certainly no shortage of personality in this little girl.  Annie gave herself a new job this week when she decided to take Roscoe for a walk around the cell block...literally.   She hopped over to his cell, played for a few minutes, then promptly picked up his leash in her mouth and started to jog down the block with Roscoe running along behind her.  She kept up with her new job and walked Roscoe about five more times before his pride got the better of him and he fired her!  Annie is such a joy to be around.  Her personality makes everyone smile and she is loved dearly!! For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  River          Diesel          Roscoe          Bailey Week 3 Annie found a new buddy in Roscoe this week.  The two have become such good friends and are helping each other in just about every area of their training...plus they love to play together!!  Annie was working extra hard this week on her leash manners and it sure paid off!  She's walking along like quite a little lady now and listens carefully to her handler.  Annie is wonderful with everyone she's met so far.  We knew so little about her when she entered the program that all of her accomplishments are exciting!  She is such a fantastic dog and we all just adore her!! For information on adopting Annie, please contact the HOPE Program by CLICKING HERE or calling 717-379-2511.  You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  River          Diesel          Roscoe          Bailey Week 2 Annie is such a love!  She was out about town on two field trips this week.  First, she went to the annual fashion show and made people smile whenever she was around and then, she had her very own Meet & Greet where there was much smiling as well.  She has such a way about her that just brings joy to everyone who meets her.  She's always happy to see you, loves to snuggle in your lap, plays until she can play no more and then finds you for some more snuggles to make her day complete.  Anyone would lucky to call Annie part of their family!! You can also fill out an application online by clicking here.  Phoenix          Diesel          Roscoe          Merrick Week 1 Annie is off to a great start!  She is quickly making friends with everyone at the prison and people just seem to be drawn to her.  She has a terrific personality and loves everything about life, especially this new life where there's plenty of food, lots of snuggles and all the toys her little heart could wish for.  She has already learned that jumping up will get her nowhere so she now sits at your feet whenever she would like some snuggles or playtime.  What a smart girl.  This little one will be a heartbreaker!!
