	Adena Week 1 ║  Week 2  ║  Week 3  ║  Week 4  ║  Week 5  ║  Week 6  ║  Week 7 Week 8  ║  Week 9  ║  Week 10  ║  Week 11  ║  Week 12 ADOPTED!!!   Week 4 Well, we knew from the start that we wouldn't have this little girl for long before she stole someone's heart.  Adena went to her new home this weekend and is having a ball with her new doggie brother.  Good luck, Adena!!   Week 3 This little one loves everything about her new life.  She loves to greet people, she can't wait to get out to the doggie yard to play with her four-legged buddies and she loves to spend time with her handlers.  She's been working very hard on her training homework this week and she continues to add new skills to her bag of tricks.  This week, she found a new place to play with her toys...under the bed.  She takes a favorite toy and scooches her way under the bed to play with it.  Then, when she's done, she scooches back out...in reverse!!  Adena has also been helping Diesel this week.  She's his buddy when his handler is away at work and she's doing a great job teaching him that he doesn't have to worry anymore...they always come back!!   Week 2 My, oh my, this little one is smart!  She is winning the hearts of everyone she meets.  She loves to come bounding over to you and give you plenty of doggie kisses to let you know she's happy to see you.  She had a short trip to the vet this week and she was an excellent patient.  She let him check her eyes and her ears and even gave him some kisses when her exam was over.  You just couldn't ask for a nicer little girl!   Week 1 Well, Adena has made quite an impression in her first week.  With her big eyes, adorable face and bouncy personality it's not hard to understand why everyone wants to get to know this little girl.  This week, she has been working on sharing her toys and letting them go when she's asked to.  It was very hard for her at first, but she's beginning to learn that something nice always happens when she lets go of her special toys!  Keep up the good work, Adena!   UPDATE Due to a last minute change in the line-up, Adena started school this week.  Stay tuned to see how she did in her first week!  Adena is available for adoption through Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.
